Our journey has come to an end. The six weeks are up. In the beginning, I weighed 182 pounds. I could not fit into my size 34 jeans.
During these six weeks, I learned exercise routines that fuel weight loss – lower body weight lifting – and learned ways to maximize these workouts; hold off cardio until the end.
So this week was hell week. I did everything to make sure I reached my goal of 10 pounds. I worked out my lower body 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
I did cardio each day for an hour.
I also worked on my abs everyday.
So when Friday finally rolled in, it was time to weigh in, and the scale read:
174!! I missed my goal by two pounds. Damn.
I had a few setbacks. Its life. Like Tom Hanks said in the movie Forrest Gump, “shit happens.” But hey, an eight-pound weight loss is not too bad. Not only do I fit in my size 34 jeans, I am a size 32 now!
So what know? We have to keep this weight off. We do this my eating right. I have noticed I have not given as many eating tips as I would like, but here is one site. This should help you out with food portions and healthier eating habits. This site should help you calculate a healthy weight range.
Now that we are equipped with the tools and knowledge to stay fit and healthy, let's keep it up. We all know we do not want to be the fatty when we get old!
